AURA began in a small formulation lab in Portland, Oregon. Our founders — a cosmetic chemist and a botanist — saw an industry that asked consumers to choose between effective and clean. They believed that was a false choice.

Then we search the plant kingdom for ingredients that deliver, testing each formula through multiple rounds of dermatologist-reviewed trials. Today, AURA serves over 50,000 customers worldwide. Every bottle is filled, sealed, and shipped from our carbon-neutral facility in the Pacific Northwest. We partner directly with ingredient growers and source only from farms that share our commitment to regenerative agriculture.
